The rerun of Dixon Of Dock Green continues on BBC Radio 4 Extra today. Originally broadcast in 2005, the series was adapted by Sue Rodwell from the original TV scripts by Ted Willis and produced for BBC Radio 4 by Viv Beeby.
David Calder plays PC George Dixon with David Tennant as his young sidekick Andy Crawford and Charlie Brooks as his daughter Mary.
Episode 2: Needle In A Haystack
A baby's life is in danger when some pep pills go missing and Dixon causes a stir at home when he offers PC Crawford the spare room.
