BroadwayWorld UK Awards

The theatre website www.BroadwayWorld.com have released their shortlist of nominees for the 2011 BroadwayWorldUK Awards and David Tennant is a nominee for Best Leading Actor In A Play for his portrayal of Benedick in Much Ado About Nothing at Wyndham’s Theatre.

Nominations were supplied online to the website by theatre goers. Public voting is now open and will continue for about six weeks with the winners being announced on the Westend BroadwayWorld Website at the end of November.
Much Ado About Nothing has several nominations across the categories:
Best Leading Actor In A Play – David Tennant
Beat Leading Actress In A Play – Catherine Tate
Best Direction Of A Play - Josie Rourke
Best Featured Actor In A Play – Tom Bateman
Best Play – Josie Rourke
Best Revival Of A Play – Wyndhams Theatre
Best Scenic Design – Robert Jones
