CBBC To Air The Wedding Of Sarah Jane Smith

CBBC will be showing David's episode of The Sarah Jane Adventures as part of it's 'Royal Wedding Day' special.
It will air on Friday 29th April at 9am and on Monday 2nd May at 11:20am.
You can also catch up with Lis' return to Doctor Who in School Reunion which Watch will be airing tomorrow at 12:55pm.

The Sarah Jane Adventures Series 3 DVD

The Complete Third Series of The Sarah Jane Adventures is released in the UK on DVD on 1st November 2010.

The series includes the story, The Wedding Of Sarah Jane Smith, which features the final scenes ever recorded by David as the Doctor.

US fans will get the DVD a little later with it being released there on 4th January 2011.

Sarah Jane Ratings

The ratings for Doctor Who spin-off The Sarah Jane Adventures broke past the million mark yesterday afternoon for the first part of David Tennant’s crossover appearance in the serial The Wedding of Sarah Jane Smith. The much anticipated crossover had been widely published and paid off in terms of ratings. According to early overnight figures over 1.3 million viewers tuned in to see the first part of the serial.

David is featured in the latest issue of the Radio Times (24-30 October 2009) in an article about TV for children over the half term holiday.

The  episodes of The Sarah Jane Adventures that David is guest starring in will be shown during the holiday (29th October / 30th October) and are the Radio Times Pick Of The Week for children's TV.

David says: "If the Sarah Jane Adventures had existed when I was eight and Tom Baker had come in for an episode, I would have thought that was the coolest thing on Earth!

It's the sort of proper, sophisticated, exciting drama with which we should be inspiring young minds."

The Wedding Of Sarah Jane Smith Screening

The BBC are holding a special screening of David's episode of The Sarah Jane Adventures at the Odeon Cinema in Liverpool One, Merseyside.
In addition to the screening children can also drop into the shopping centre to take part in free activities, such as face painting and 'green screen' acting, as well as meeting up with Xylok supercomputer Mr Smith, robot dog K-9 and a host of the monsters from the new series.
The action takes place at the centre on 24th and 25th October.
The screening is free but tickets must be reserved first either from the Odeon Cinema in Liverpool One or at www.bbc.co.uk/tickets, all other activities are on a first come first served basis.

The cover for the new issue of Doctor Who Magaine #414 has been revealed and as you can see it features David Tennant and Elisabeth Sladen as the Doctor and Sarah Jane Smith to promote the new series of The Sarah Jane Adventures.

The mag will be on sale from next Thursday.
