We Won't Drop The Baby narrated by David Tennant will air on BBC One tonight at 10.25pm.

What's it about?
Comedian Laurence Clark and his wife Adele both have cerebral palsy. Six years ago when they had a baby boy, Tom, they were criticised by doctors for being irresponsible. Laurence is wheelchair-bound, and Adele is heavily dependent on her crutches. But now Adele is pregnant again. And this time Adele is determined to have a natural birth. It is a brave decision, considering Laurence's cerebral palsy was caused by his own difficult birth, and Adele's CP affects her from the waist down. For six months we join Laurence, Tom and Adele in an observational film that lays bare the joys and hurdles of disabled parenting. As if they didn't have enough to deal with - just four weeks after Adele's due date, Laurence is set to appear at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe performing his comedy routine throughout the summer. It will be an exciting and challenging time for the Clarks as they make the journey up north, complete with their newborn baby. Will Laurence be able to balance family life with his passion for comedy?

We Won't Drop The Baby - Narrated By David Tennant will air on BBC One on Sunday 25th March at 10.25pm.

The Laurence Clark documentary that David has provided the voice over for will be shown on BBC One during their Beyond Disibility season.

The programme will air at 10.35pm on Wednesday 21st March 2012.

The documentary (1x50) was commissioned by Danny Cohen, Controller, BBC One and Charlotte Moore,Commissioning Editor for Documentaries and BBC Three. The commissioning executive at the BBC is Sam Anthony and Elspeth O’Hare is executive producing for IWC Media.

Laurence Clark Documentary To Air In March

You may remember back in September 2011 that we reported that David had provided the voice over for a new documentary on Laurence Clark a comedian, writer, actor and disabled rights activist from Liverpool.  Well its due to be aired on BBC One in March.
