John Humphrys' Praise For David Tennant's Richard II

Veteran journalist and broadcaster John Humphrys has chosen David Tennant's Richard II at The Barbican as one of his theatre highlights in a recent interview with the Daily Mail's Event magazine.

He says:

"I go to the theatre as often as I can given my work. I saw Much Ado About Nothing in the summer, with Vanessa Redgrave, which, sad to say, was so dire we left at half time.

Most recently I saw Richard II at the Barbican. David Tennant is terrific. I introduced him to my son once and he was delightful to him."
