John Barrowman will not be involved in the 50thAnniversary episode of Doctor Who.
John tweeted confirmation, ending great speculation that he would be part of the cast following his hints that he was in discussions over something to do with the anniversary celebrations a few weeks ago.

So far no past Doctor Who cast members have been confirmed for the show, with most, including David Tennant, maintaining that they have not yet been contacted. David recently declared that he was fast giving up hope of appearing.
The 50th Anniversary episode starts filming in April. Current Doctor Matt Smith has said that he and new companion Jenna Louise Coleman will be appearing, but the only hint that he would give away about the plot was one word: "Paintings".
The new series of Doctor Who starring Matt Smith and Jenna Louise Coleman starts on Saturday 30th March.
