(AGI) Tehran - Iran has executed 8 drug traffickers with a public hanging in Shiraz according to reports by the Fars news agency.
According to Amnesty International, in 2011 Iran executed about 360 people by hanging, compared to 252 the previous year. Iran, together with China, Saudi Arabia and the United States, is one of the countries still passing death sentences.
