Manama: Saudi Arabia on Wednesday executed a Saudi who killed his mother, also a Saudi national, the ministry of interior announced.
"Mad Allah Bin Saadoon Al Shimmari, a Saudi, killed his mother, Sahla Bint Muraimas Al Shimmari, a Saudi, by strangling her to death. He then used a knife to behead her," the ministry said, quoted by Sabq news site.
The killer who confessed the crime was executed in Jubail in the Eastern Province, the ministry said.
