Iran: Two hanged in Qom

Iran Human Rights, November 18: Two prisoners were hanged in the prison of Qom (south of Tehran) reported the Iranian daily Jomhuri-e-eslami (Islamic republic).

The prisoners who were not identified by name were convicted of keeping and carrying 24 kilograms and 780 grams of crack, said the report.

The executions took place inside the prison of Qom on Thursday November 17.

Two other prisoners who were charged with drug trafficking were hanged in the same prison on November 11.
