Two hanged in northwestern Iran

Iran Human Rights, July 7: Two men were hanged in the prison of Orumiyeh (northwestern Iran) early this morning.

Quoting their lawyer, the Mukrian news agency reported that the two men identified as Sedigh Nemani and Mehdi Kohan were convicted of drug-related offences.

According to official and unofficial reports, at least 35 people have been executed in the first week of July in Iran.
