Presently, some gun owners have dramatic a campaign of walking into Starbucks & other businesses to check state laws that permit gun owners to carry weapons explicitly in public places. Gun control advocates have complained.Starbucks told it complies with state laws & won't ban guns beginning stores in states where there is an open-carry law.
The Brady Campaign to avert Gun Violence is holding a press meeting in Starbucks' hometown of Seattle regarding its petition demanding that Starbucks announce its cafes "gun-free zones."
