November 17, 2009: Three people, among them one woman, were hanged in the prison of Isfahan (Central Iran) early this morning, reported the Iranian daily newspaper Kayhan.
According to the report those executed today were: Vahid Sh. (35) convicted of buying and keeping 143 grams of crack (narcotics), Rasoul T. (age not mentioned) convicted of being involved in keeping 2 kg of crack and Begam P. (woman, age not mentioned) convicted of using narcotics and smugling 500 grams of crack in her stomach.
According to the reports gathered by Iran Human Rights, at least 12 people, among them one woman, have been executed during the last two weeks in Iran.
