Five people were hanged in the south-eastern Iranian city of Kerman

Iran Human Rights, May 7: Five people were hanged in the prison of Kerman, south-eastern part of Iran, reported the state run Iranian news agency Fars today.

The Five were convicted of drug smugling and were identified as: "Saeed D.", "Sattar N.", "Mahmood M.", "Majid P." and "Sarvar V.".

The report didn’t mention whether the executions took place yesterday May 6. or today May 7.
