March 13, 2009: Saudi Arabian authorities beheaded a man convicted of petty theft and running a prostitution ring.
An Interior Ministry statement said Nasser bin Fahd was executed in the city of Riyadh after being found guilty of running a gang responsible for stealing jewellery and cars, threatening women and selling drugs.
