Afghanistan President Signs Verdict to Execute 100

Afghanistan President Hamid Karzai signed a verdict to execute 100 people due to frequent murders and armed attacks in the country.

According to the Speaker of the Afghanistan Senate Sibghatullah Mojaddedi, formerly Karzai had said the execution would not be held publicly.

However, the majority of the country's population demanded a public execution of the criminals.

Mojaddedi added that the criminals must be executed in an effort to decrease the number of crimes.

Kidnapping, armed attacks and violence all over Afghanistan have recently become very frequent.

Kidnappers target well-to-do people to exact ransoms.
